Uzbekistan received $9.284 billion through international money transfers in January–June 2026, according to a Central Bank review.
Incoming transfers rose 13% year on year, from $8.215 billion in the first half of 2025. The increase amounted to $1.069 billion.
Outgoing transfers reached $1.327 billion over the same period, compared with $1.227 billion a year earlier. The exact net inflow was $7.957 billion, which the regulator rounded to $8 billion.
The review tables also show that Uzbekistan received $6.457 billion in the first half of 2024, while outgoing transfers totalled $1.253 billion.
Incoming transfers therefore increased by almost $2.83 billion over two years. The figures cover international money transfers rather than all foreign-currency inflows into the economy.
