Tashkent commissioned 151 apartment buildings in the first six months of 2026, the city administration reported.
The new buildings contain 11,270 apartments that were made available to residents of the capital.
Seven social facilities also opened during the period: three preschool education centres and four facilities serving other purposes.
Construction and contracting work in Tashkent totalled 61.2 trillion Uzbek soum in the first half of the year. The city administration said the figure rose by 9.9% from the corresponding period.
