Work to replace a heating main began on Kichik Halqa Yoli in Tashkent’s Yakkasaray district on 25 July, restricting traffic for 40 days.
The works cover a 1.5 km section, where two lanes have been temporarily closed. A pipeline measuring 530 mm in diameter and 1,540 metres in total length will be replaced.
The upgrade is intended to support a reliable supply of heating and hot water to residents during the coming autumn and winter season.
Drivers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and use alternative routes until the work is completed.
