Mortgage subsidy applications to open at 3 pm on July 27

Applicants need at least 30 social-criteria points and a credit history acceptable to a participating bank.

Uzbekistan will resume accepting mortgage subsidy applications at 3 pm on July 27 using the unused balance of previously issued subsidy notices within their validity period, the Ministry of Economy and Finance reported.

Applicants must meet all of the main eligibility conditions:

  • score at least 30 points under the social criteria;
  • have an average monthly income that meets the established social criteria;
  • neither the applicant nor their spouse may own residential property anywhere in Uzbekistan;
  • have a credit history that meets the internal requirements of at least one participating bank.

Applications can be submitted at a Public Services Center, through the myGov mobile app or on the public services portal.

During verification, OneID must allow participating banks to access the required personal data. Any temporary restriction on obtaining the applicant’s credit history must also be disabled; otherwise, the review can be blocked and the application may be rejected.

Military personnel and employees of security agencies must apply in person at a Public Services Center.

  • National Bank of Uzbekistan
  • Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank

According to the public services portal, the service is available to individuals on the following terms:

  • applications are free;
  • the form takes about 10 minutes to complete;
  • processing takes up to four working days;
  • no additional documents are required to apply.

The service is governed by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 182 of March 25, 2020.
