Tottenham have named a 35-player squad for their pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia, the club announced.
Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Dejan Kulusevski and Wilson Odobert will not travel with the team. All four will remain at Hotspur Way to continue their rehabilitation.
Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario will also miss the trip after sustaining a minor knock in training. He will receive treatment at the club’s training centre.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr have been granted extended leave after their World Cup appearances. Pedro Porro, Marcos Senesi, Cristian Romero and Djed Spence will also stay behind after their national teams reached the latter stages of the tournament.
Tottenham will open the tour against Auckland FC at Eden Park on July 26. They then face Sydney FC on July 29 and Chelsea in Sydney on August 1.
The travelling squad also includes Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Andy Robertson, Jan Paul van Hecke and Martin Dubravka.
