Uzbekistan won two artistic swimming gold medals at the Asian Aquatics Championships in Thailand, the National Olympic Committee reported.
Darya Kochneva won the technical solo programme for athletes under 18. Her result delivered the first of Uzbekistan’s two gold medals in the discipline.
Khadicha Azamova and Sabina Makhmudova won the technical duet programme in the same U18 age group. The Uzbek pair finished first in the event.
The competition in Thailand features athletes from several age groups. Artistic swimmers secured both of Uzbekistan’s gold medals in this part of the programme.
