A total of 35,401 foreign nationals travelled to Uzbekistan for medical treatment in January–June 2026, more than 13,000 fewer than in the same period last year.
Tajikistan accounted for the largest number of patients at 19,096. Another 9,552 came from Kyrgyzstan and 4,582 from Kazakhstan.
Uzbekistan also received 1,280 patients from Afghanistan and 772 from Russia.
All other countries accounted for 119 medical-purpose visits combined. Neighbouring countries therefore generated the bulk of the flow.
